for sellers, brands, and internal teams to prevent the sale of counterfeit, fake, pirated,
replica, or unauthorized products on the Stylesavvys marketplace.
2. Scope
This policy applies to:
● All sellers registered on Stylesavvys.
● All products listed on the marketplace.
● Brands, distributors, importers, and manufacturers.
● Customers reporting suspected counterfeit products.
3. Definition of Counterfeit Products
A counterfeit product includes, but is not limited to:

4. Prohibited Products
The following products are strictly prohibited:
● Fake branded clothing.
● Counterfeit footwear.
● Fake handbags and wallets.
● Replica watches.
● Fake cosmetics and skincare products.
● Counterfeit perfumes.
● Unauthorized electronics and accessories.● Pirated software or digital products.
● Products with forged BIS, FSSAI, CE, ISI, or other certification marks.
● Products violating any applicable intellectual property laws.
5. Seller Verification Requirements
Before listing branded products, sellers must provide:
● Valid GST Registration.
● PAN details.
● Business registration documents (where applicable).
● Bank account verification.
● Government-issued identity proof.
● Purchase invoices from manufacturers or authorized distributors.
● Brand authorization letter, if required.
● Import documentation for imported products.
Failure to provide requested documents may result in rejection or suspension.
6. High-Risk Categories
The following categories are subject to enhanced verification:
● Branded footwear
● Branded apparel
● Watches
● Jewellery
● Cosmetics
● Skincare
● Perfumes
● Sunglasses
● Mobile accessories
● Beauty devices
Stylesavvys may require additional verification before approving listings in these categories.
7. Product Listing Requirements
Every listing must include:
● Accurate product title.● Genuine product images.
● Manufacturer information.
● Country of origin.
● Brand name.
● Model number or SKU (where applicable).
● MRP.
● Product description.
● Warranty information (if applicable).
Use of misleading images or descriptions is prohibited.
8. Marketplace Monitoring
Stylesavvys may:
● Review product listings manually or through automated systems.
● Verify seller invoices.
● Conduct random product audits.
● Purchase products anonymously for quality verification.
● Suspend listings pending investigation.
● Request additional authenticity documents at any time.
9. Customer Reporting
Customers may report suspected counterfeit products by submitting:
● Order ID.
● Product photographs.
● Packaging images.
● Invoice.
● Reason for suspicion.
Reports may be submitted through Customer Support or the designated IP reporting
channel.
10. Notice and Takedown
Upon receiving a credible complaint, Stylesavvys may:
● Temporarily disable the product listing.
● Request documents from the seller.● Seek clarification from the complainant.
● Consult the brand owner where appropriate.
● Permanently remove infringing listings if the complaint is substantiated.
11. Seller Penalties
Where counterfeit activity is confirmed, Stylesavvys may:
● Remove listings.
● Cancel pending orders.
● Withhold seller payments where legally permissible.
● Suspend selling privileges.
● Permanently terminate the seller account.
● Share information with relevant authorities where required by law.
● Initiate legal proceedings where appropriate.
Repeat offenders will be permanently banned.
12. Brand Owner Protection
Trademark owners may report suspected infringement by providing:
● Trademark registration details.
● Product URLs.
● Evidence of infringement.
● Contact details.
Stylesavvys will investigate such reports promptly and take appropriate action.
13. Customer Protection
If a customer receives a confirmed counterfeit product, Stylesavvys may, subject to
applicable policies:
● Remove the listing.
● Facilitate a refund or replacement.
● Investigate the seller.
● Take enforcement action against the seller.
14. Compliance
All sellers must comply with applicable Indian laws, including intellectual property laws,
consumer protection requirements, and e-commerce obligations.
15. Policy Updates
Stylesavvys reserves the right to amend this policy at any time. Continued use of the
marketplace constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
